The problem gets worse in pipelines. When you chain multiple transforms – say, parse, transform, then serialize – each TransformStream has its own internal readable and writable buffers. Crucially, this distribution of border points is agnostic of routing speed profiles. It’s based only on whether a road is passable or not.
